JYP Entertainment formed Got7. Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom are the members of the group.

Got7 made its debut in January 2014 with the release of its first EP Got It?, which charted at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and number one on the Billboard World Albums Chart.

The group also gained notoriety for their live performances, which frequently incorporate elements of martial arts tricking and street dancing.

Got7 signed with Sony Music Entertainment Japan in late 2014 and debuted their debut Japanese-language single “Around the World” in the Japanese market.

A month later, they returned to South Korea to release their first full-length studio album, Identify, which topped the country’s charts. Got7 released the EPs Just Right and Mad in 2015, which produced their most commercially successful single, “Just Right.”

They entered the Japanese market in 2016 with Moriagatteyo, a full-length Japanese studio album that debuted at number three on the Oricon Albums Chart.

Flight Log: Departure, their fifth Korean EP, and Flight Log: Turbulence, their second full-length studio album, were both chart-toppers, as was the 2017 EP Flight Log: Arrival, the third and final instalment of the group’s Flight Log series.
