Robert Norman Reiner is an American actor and director who was born on March 6, 1947. With his appearance as Michael “Meathead” Stivic on the CBS comedy All in the Family (1971–1979), which won him two Primetime Emmy Awards, Reiner first gained widespread recognition as an actor.
